Come on! This is ludicrous. What's happened to commonsense?

"A blind man has won a legal battle to keep and shoot his guns. Steven Hopler, 49, from Rockaway, New Jersey, had his firearms confiscated after shooting himself in the leg."

How is it not common sense?

Expert marksmen with sight have gun accidents all the time.

Should we take away knives from blind people because they might cut themselves and bleed to death?

The only thing that is ludicrous and lacking common sense is your thought process.

By your 'thought' process falling down drunks should be allowed to drive because expert drivers have accidents all the time.

This issue has nothing to do with drunks or driving, as usual your thought process is lacking.

Driving is a privilege not a right.

It has nothing to do with experts having accidents either but you chose to bring it up.

As usual, your hypocrisy shine through

Blind people have no Second Amendment rights because they can't perform an essential part of using a fire arm (aiming), but homosexuals who cannot conceive children inside or outside marriage need a marriage license to prevent love childs?

I guess the Founders couldn't have thought of everything.

wonder if they'll give a blind man 20 years for shooting into his own ceiling?

What about my unalienable right to life being taken away by a blind man?

You don't lose your constitutional rights just because of a disability. He has the same right to protect himself and his property as any other person. Those rights are inalienable.

I'm glad he won!
