It seems that a new federal government program to fingerprint and turn the prints of illegal aliens who are in jail for crimes is being fought harder and harder by Governor Cuomo and the mayor of NYC. Darned good program, I think, but then I don't see illegal immigrants as the same as legal immigrants.

Why do these idiots go to bat for criminals? Amazing how the minds of some operate.
Some of the soft lefties like Cuomo don't want those illegals found out in DC. The real problem seems to be that many in the left leaning world of NYC really must be able to use illegal alien votes to keep themselves in power. I really found that article to be pretty interesting and exposing of those people.
I would think they fingerprint anyone who made it to jail.
Fingerprint then and send them back to where they come from.
I was born a citizen of the US but still had to be fingerprinted to get in the Army and the prints, of course, went to DC.
It does seem a bit shifty that those pols from NYC don't want illegal aliens, or undocumented workers as they call them, fingerprinted with the prints sent to DC. What do they think would work out to win illegal votes?
As a law abiding citizen I must subject myself to finger printing in order to obtain a CCW permit. That illegal aliens should get a special exemption from fingerprinting as charged criminal suspects is nothing short of insanity.

Since Cuomo himself has probably been fingerprinted sometime during his career (I know I have) I think it would be ridiculous not to do it. It's okay to fingerprint cops but not criminals?
Cuomo is the Democrat-in-waiting for the White House and everything he does should be viewed as prep work for a run for the job.
