It represents blacks being inferior to whites, always being on the bottom, undeserving of being on the top because of inferiority, and unworthy of equal consideration and opportunity as a matter of course. The Republican party therefore has more in common with the mindset of the slaveowner, the mindset of the klansman, and the mindset of the most ignorant, bigoted, and racist people in this country past and present. To this end, their policies stink.

Really, the only way for minorities to go to the Republican party was if the Republicans went back to being Democrats and the Democrats switched back to being Republicans. Minorites are not interested in supporting a bigoted party no matter what modern day Republicans call themselves.

Secondly, are you supposed to be special because you espouse those things in your second paragraph? LOL....i mean, so what? Because i'm black, are you safely assuming that i DON'T espouse the same things? Aren't there Asians in inner cities too? If you don't think so, i can point the cities out for you where they're at.

I'm saying all of this to basically say that you're not saying anything i haven't already heard a million times. Big deal. So you're an Asian conservative. I'm impressed.
Ummm... so just because I don't agree with your minority attitude, my being a minority with different views isn't valid? How are you more of an expert than I am?

The older Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Chinese in this country, the ones with closer ties to their home country, are more conservative in their moral values and have an amazing work ethic. They appreciate the opportunity to be in this country. They have worked hard for decades and many worked two jobs in order to support their families and give their children the opportunity to go to colleges. And even as absentee parents, because of work, they managed to keep a firm hand on their children and encourage them to study hard and have good grades. Even though their English skills were lacking and also their educational levels low, they managed for their children to excel in public schools, even inner city ones since many of these Asian families lived in or near "chinatowns". So how could these Asian Americans have any sympathies towards what you consider the minority experience of black Americans? Sure Asian Americans experienced prejudices for not being white, and the Japanese were thrown in internment camps during WWII and thousands of Chinese died building the Transcontinental Railroad and early on weren't allowed to bring their wives over to this country, but despite all of that unfairness and disrespect, they've succeeded in this country quite well and without the help of welfare handouts.

And yes, there are Asians in the inner cities and outside of them who mimic the mannerisms of black inner city culture. But that's a more recent phenomenon and due in part to the popularity of contemporary black rap and dance music among the American youth in general and in the media. But the Asians that act so "ghetto culture" are the teens and young adults. And what's sad is that if they decide to make it a lifelong attitude, they will go down the path of failure like the blacks and Hispanics who have lived the same way. Ghetto culture is a loser lifestyle. The numbers speak for themselves.

Do you really think that you being from Detroit makes you more of a pundit?

Yet you are a black liberal, and claim more credibility that you're proof that the GOP is unfriendly to minorities. So, other people, myself included, do not have any credibility because we're conservative, even though we're just as a minority as you. Gotcha

I don't vote republican ecause I'm black and incapable of thinking about the issues.

Yep, it's all about race for me.

It has nothing with being pro-choice...pro-science...agnostic and pro equal rights for all U.S citizens and legal immigrants regardless of their religious beliefs, gender, or sexual orientation. Worker's rights? What's that? The nerve of people to fight for living wages and regulations that keep workers and consumers safe. I'm a nurse, please give me 7-10 acutely ill people to take care of all by myself for 12.5 hours with no bathroom or lunch breaks because people are widgets and corporations need to make their money above and beyond human life. Yes, I need to give my vote to the party of the Southern strategy and Reagan's cadillac welfare queens. I could go on and on but some people are more comfortable with the notion that black people are stupid, don't read or keep up with current events. It makes them feel good to believe every black person votes based on what Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson have to say. Oh, please.

Promises of an easier life, free food, housing and childcare.

Other than that, I see no way.

BTW....minority unemployment has doubled since Obama!

Unemployment is always higher in socialist countries. Places like Spain have 50% unemployment Ming young adults, yet we have space cadets sheepishly supporting crony regulations.

Black folks are upset with crime and educational/income gaps, but they can't tell you the history of such mattered nd the incentives/disincentives driving it. For ex., black youth unemployment has grown to the highest level today, a trend that started back in 1950.

That was over 150 years ago, dude.

What does that have to do with the second half of the 20th Century and the first dozen years of the 21st Century?????

Sheesh.
Ever heard of the Philadelphia union plan?

Wow at the bolded. All of these people with insight into what all black people know and think. I repeat many conservatives ignore the issues that turn off black voters and lump blacks together as being ignorant and child like. Black people just don't know any better.
