Why don't you mind your own Canadian 3rd world business?
I do wonder myself why the Canadians are so concerned with American politics. I know exactly where to live so there will be no neccesiity that I need to acquire in Canada of all places. If I travel to Alaska - I will use the Alaska Marine Highway - sorry - but my opinion of Canadians is much different in 2012 then it may have been in 1912. History has some effects, sorry. Canadians like sanspeur will always be our northern ally, but that does not mean that I have to become a liberal due to our historical similarities. I understand and respect Canadian history, I don't think that the fact that I do so, requires me to honor certain political criteria. Our historical differences also play a role, I think that American's experience with slavery does play a major part - that you should respect - however, not being an American - I don't expect you to understand.
Is it because there are so many fundamentalist Christians, or is there some other reason?...Giving gays equal rights takes nothing away from anyone. Since we have done this in Canada the bigotry has pretty much faded away...
Even if you inherently believe that homosexuality is the most vile thing to ever grace society, any truly educated person would understand that these people still have their basic right and liberty to be gay and marry people of the same sex.

The title of this thread (nothing personal to the OP, of course!) just begs for someone to counter with a thread that says, "Why Is the USA so infested with Pervs?" or something along those lines.
The only pervs I see here are the bigots that hate others for no reason at all.

You see, I actually don't. Not the gays, not the blacks, not the Christians, not the Muslims, not one single group of people. In fact, I actually understand that people are different. I also understand that they have the same rights as anyone else. And that includes people who are as consumed by hate as you.

Don't you know? Atheists are even more hated in the US than muslims. The liberal media found that out a while ago. You ranked lowest on the totem pole.

I have asked YOu at least twice(and i think - thrice) - when have I ever acted as a "bigot"? And if you are so "tolerant" then why do you not present youself that way?
