Quoting from said link by the person who made the error:
"You're undoubtedly aware of the brouhaha stirred up by Breitbart about the erroneous statement in a client list Acton & Dystel published in 1991 (for circulation within the publishing industry only) that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me -- an agency assistant at the time. There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."
Simple mistake. Right. Sure.

Amazing how easy it is for people to sweep this simple mistake under the carpet.

That's one heck of a BIG mistake.

Obama himself is one big azzed mistake!

Surely, he would want his bio correct?
This is just weird, just like Obama
That's the bottom line.

Hmmph. If it is truly a Hawaiian birth certificate, it should be written in Hawaiian.

Makuahine mana'o'i'o 'oia hanau keike loko Kanaka Hawai'i haukapila.

Ho'opunipuni!

Ue wale!!

Somebody knew about it, they had to. I think LOTS of people knew about it. Look at the way Obama's been pushed around and made to dance every which way by so many people in power. Hillary chose her job and the Clintons hand picked Obama's staff. Anybody they didn't like was out no matter how much they had supported Obama. Then Obama bends over backwards and keeps all of Bush's major policies in place. The bailouts, the wars, tax cuts, everything. Face it the guy has lots of dirty laundry and its been kept out of the public eye but he's an absolute flunky of those who control him. He makes George W. Bush look like Teddy Roosevelt.
So whats with this story? Well, we know he's had some major issues about being able to produce his birth certificate. His college records were never allowed to be released. His own family has made statements asserting he was born in Kenya. And now this. Its quite possible he lied about his background to gain special favors and consideration to help him in school, or he's lying now and was actually born in Kenya.
He was aloowed to win because those in power thought he could be useful and could help sell programs they wanted. He's turned out to be far less of a salesman than they thought. He may even now be a liability to them. Maybe thats why they're releasing these details now, they're preparing for his leaving office this November.

The way I approach the "birther" argument is this: Obama's claims are highly suspect. Enough doubt has been cast to bring about logical debate. Whether the outcome is such that Obama is a Kenyan or an American, it really doesn't matter (in non-Constitutional terms). What does matter is that as long as this debate rages on within the country, more and more doubt is cast on the legitimacy of this President. That can only work against Barack Obama, which in my mind is a noble goal considering the defeat of him in November is of utmost importance.

Nonsensical.

The booklet wasn't about Obama. Obama was one of 90 (Ninety--that's NINETY) clients included in the booklet that was ABOUT THE AGENCY. NOT ABOUT OBAMA. It was a promo piece for the AGENCY. Since it was ABOUT THE AGENCY, why would Obama keep up with it? He hadn't even finished his first book. He was just hoping to get published.

Look at the birth certificate above: notice anything odd?

It was signed on 8-7-1961.

Strange, that in 1961 sat the 87th Session of Congress.

Strange also that in 1961 President Kennedy addressed a Joint Session of Congress and announced his determination to 1) put a man on the moon by the end of the decade, and 2) put a black man in the White House by 2010 (the last bit was actually whispered while Congress cheered the first bit).

Was Kennedy the true instigator of this massive fraud? (both the moon landing and Obama).

Heavy stuff.

Ignoring that the booklet was not about him, do you really not understand how completely contradictory that scenario is? The complete disconnect between that hypothetical and the way neural normal people actually think is pretty spectacular.
