A poster here made the comment when Hispanics move into an area the Blacks are known for moving away. This poster can't understand why that happens cause Blacks are known for standing their ground in at least the hoods.
I wonder if "racism" comes into play here cause most Hispanics here in the US are about the same color as light skin Blacks so American Blacks don't wanna put up a fight. But many Blacks WILL raise hell if an anglo white does something they don't like.

I can’t speak for every city but in LA a lot of blacks moved to the suburbs and the Mexican Americans moved in the cities. In the late 90s through around 2010 it cost almost a half million dollars to live in a high crime area. Black folk took their money and headed out to the valley, Inland Empire and High Desert. A lot of Mexican Americans I knew was able to afford to stay because they had 2-4 grown workingmen living in one house.
Ethnic flights are common thru history. Harlem was jewish and then became black, when aas were fleeing from newly arriving Irish in another section of town.

Ha, you should check out Hawaii Gardens sometime. The most common inter-racial violence these days occurs between blacks and hispanics.
Whites might be in the headlines, but they aren't the ones getting shot for being on the wrong side of the street in the hood.
Its because people who have had it tough, play tough. Hispanic's are self respecting individual's, and generally not your average flaky drop out.....take it from there.
Actually most hispanics here in Los Angeles by far drop out.
