One of my sisters peers was an eccentric hippyish guy who attempted to look like John Lennon. This guy in my view was straight. He found himself this young girl and they moved out to the boonies to live in a cabin...They have two children..time passes...His wife is very supportive of him..."Joe is one of the finest men that the 20th century has ever produced"///
JOE starts wearing a dress and make up- he starts to take medication and grows these large breasts...He starts to talk about getting a sex change- finally his wife has had enough- she goes out to the pick up truck- gets out the gun- puts it in her mouth and shoots herself.
I knew this guy had an evil streak but I was shocked when I heard this very odd report. A few years later I see the guy at some school function for his daughters....He was back to being a man....So- what the hell was all that about-- - - - - - - - - - - - - The poor kids are without a mother- and they have this evil freak as a father...JOE was also a very aggressive atheist...and a highly skilled amateur astronomer...One day years back we were viewing the universe and he said - WHAT A MESS THE UNIVERSE IS - he said he could have designed it better...apparently it was about out doing nature- absorbing the life force and identity of his wife...I really do not think this was about sexuality- it was a mad man searching for power and spitting in natures face...not to mention attempting to show God that he was god.

Cool story, bro... but I'm not sure how that relates to transgenderism in general, since this guy clearly had other issues going on inside his head. Unfortunate that he caused a death in the process, but nobody here (including you) can truly say what happened - or if he really is TG in reality. Do you think this one example indicates how ALL transgendered people feel and act?
Have you ever watched any "documentaries" revolving around the transgendered?
I have (all have been male to female), and in each and every single one (when they don't look like a homeless drag queen), they do purposely hide who they are and lie. They see how far they will get and worry about the deceit..as an afterthought.
In addition to watching a few documentaries, I've actually MET and interacted with many transgendered people around here... and in reality, most of them seem fairly open about who they are.
Do you generally base your opinions on what you've seen on television?

IMO they usually do figure it out, and just play dumb or purposefully deny what they know. I remember this happening with a certain Howard Stern (former) staff member, who's always been suspected of having gay tendencies... and when we "met" the M2F he'd hooked up with on the air, it was quite obvious to anyone with half a brain. So I personally don't think he was fooled, but rather that he was fooling himself. Know what I mean?
In post #126 you display intolerance with me specifically and those in general who aren’t buying into the “trapped in the wrong body” mentality as anything other than a mental health issue. Wishing you were in another body isn’t normal no matter how you try to slice and dice it.

If he was a fan of tube steak then he wouldn't be interested in the transgendered pageant hottie. But I do suspect his reaction was due to how "good" the transformation turned out to be. I think most people would not suspect her of having been born with male genitalia, because she's very feminine looking.
I don't think anyone disputes that she looks terrific.
And my convictions are that you are placing a harsh judgment on people you don't even understand. Have compassion and be glad you weren't born into the wrong sex--it's a lot easier and you'll sleep better.
