And if you're referring to those of us for marriage equality as 'you gays' as a negative, then you aren't helping your case if you're not trying to sound like a hateful bigot homophobe.
"You liars and hypocrites!" My Lord Jesus said. He was not a hateful bigot.
"You gays and abortionist murderers!" I say, are sinners. Homosexual behavior is a sin. Hate the sin, not the sinner. BTW, I'm not pleading a case of any kind. I will not be judged. My sins (which are many and likely greater than yours) are forgiven.

Gays don't have much to do with abortions and murders, but anyway, I'm withdrawing from this discussion since it seems to have gone off on a loopy tangent.
And that's the real agenda. We are not all the same. You're different. Accept it.
How am I different?
I breathe, eat, hurt, love, think, work, play.
Why do you feel the need to separate people based on what they do behind closed doors?
Never mind the gay families - How do you feel about single-parent households? Those kids are missing one parent entirely! Aren't you concerned? Or is your tirade limited to just gay (but two-parent) families?
Of course, I'm concerned.
But this thread is not about single parents...
and single parents are not trying to legally redefine marriage.

There are no laws preventing gay people from doing any of those things.

Differences in life are a good thing. Why do these types of movements force people to give up their own belief systems? Also, you're asking for public recognition of your lifestyle. Nothing private about it. At no other time in history has this been the cultural norm.

It's based on biology, two men cannot make a baby together, so there is no reason to prod them into getting married, no reason to give them tax breaks, no reason for government to subsidize them.

No is asking you or anyone else to go against their belief system. You will not be required to marry someone of the same sex. You will not be required to approve of anyones marriage. You will not be required to like a gay person, talk to them, or even look at them.
The public has nothing to do with any marriage, but the one that is entered into by that person and their spouse.
And as far as cultural norm, it wasn't the cultural norm for women to be treated as equals either, but that didn't stop us from winning our equality.
