I'm not a huge fan of "God Bless America" because I prefer to keep religion (and God) out of politics. "America the Beautiful" is a song I like, but it also has references to the Almighty

Personally, I'm a fan of "This Land is your Land."

This land is your land, this land is my land
From California to the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and me.
As I went walking that ribbon of highway
I saw above me that endless skyway
I saw below me that golden valley
This land was made for you and me.
I roamed and I rambled and I followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
While all around me a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me.
When the sun came shining, and I was strolling
And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling
A voice was chanting, As the fog was lifting,
This land was made for you and me.
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California to the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and me.

The song is inclusive of all our people and all the regions of this country.

What says you?

***Also, let's not turn this thread into a nasty one where people insult each other's patriotism for being too liberal/conservative/right-wing/left-wing etc etc etc...
Sorry, I have flashbacks to my 2nd grade music class when hearing that song and it will always sound like a kids song to me. No thank you.

I like the Star Spangled Banner. It's a fantastic song, but to me the song is more about the flag, and not so much the country itself, so I always preferred "America The Beautiful". I like the lyrics better too. But I'm actually fine with our current anthem. I mean, how many countries have their national anthems based on a drinking song? That's pretty sweet!

"Anthem"

Know your place in life is where you want to be
Don't let them tell you that you owe it all to me
Keep on looking forward...no use in looking 'round
Hold your head above the ground and they won't bring you down

[Chorus:]
Anthem of the heart and anthem of the mind
A funeral dirge for eyes gone blind
We marvel after those who sought
The wonders of the world, wonders of the world
Wonders of the world they wrought

Live for yourself...there's no one else
More worth living for
Begging hands and bleeding hearts will only cry out for more

[Chorus]

Well, I know they've always told you
Selfishness was wrong
Yet it was for me, not you, I came to write this song

Yeah - but the wheel was much improved once a tire was added.

I can't think of any other more suited. The video even proves it.

one that has no words to the song.

1812 Overture, even tho the song had nothing to do with our own 1812 war.

I previously posted "Be Thou My Vision" for the new national anthem.

I submit "Trust and Obey" as another contender.
