Government shouldn't pretend to be "moral". People get in trouble when government do. Government's affair is to promote liberties, freedoms for all, especially those most prone to being suffocated (a reason, founders invested their time in curbing down ways a majority can push its whims on a minority... an offshoot of it is: Civil Rights Act).
Assertion about what? That government shouldn't pretend to be moral? Nope. That word doesn't exist anywhere in the US Constitution, does it? Now about that Pizza, is it June 5th yet?
I'm confilicted. I lived in NYC when I first came to America, and I know good pizza, and Pizza Patron (like MOST pizza here in Phoenix) sucks. But I support the immigrant cause and like practicing my Spanish. Advice fellow CD Political warriors?

"Immigrant cause"? What does that mean? If you truly support "immigrants" you would support them ordering pizza in English. However, let's be honest here. That pizza place was appealing to non-assimilating Spanish speakers both the legal and illegal kind.
