Those who object see it as one more way that homosexuality is being promoted to be viewed as "mainstream". They have the right to their opinions, the right to express them, the right to protest and the right to boycott.

Voting with your pocket book is the best approach. If they support the destruction of American society then they are the enemy. Don't contribute to their bottom line. If a sponsor that supports gays comes on TV, change channel. Don't add to their ratings. We out number them by a huge ammount despite all of their noise and activism. Sanctions on their sponsors will have an effect. If a church supports same sex marriage or ordination of gays, stop going there. It's not a Christian church.

As a retail store they should try to appeal to everyone for sales. Just another thing to cry over. Keep it moving.

Sure it does, to the same extent that Target does. As jjrose pointed out...

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Whimsical-...Watch/20908668

Wal-Mart also sells DVDs, CDs, and video games promoting sexual promiscuity, violence (including gang violence), drug use, etc. Would you mind telling us what makes being gay worse than all these other things?

I already posted a link to a gay pride watch listed on Walmarts site.

I don't need anything they sell bad enough to contribute a dime to the gay agenda.

Do you check the charitable donations of every place you shop?
Do you check every item available in every store you shop in?

Or do you only get upset when it is brought to your attention?

So you are saying that if your support a free market, it means you approve of everything in that free market? The fact that they are angry and are using their freedom as a consumer to voice objection to Target IS a free market. That is how it works. The consumer is king. They accept or refuse and a business can choose to appeal to that or not.

Now if they start demanding legislation ban Target from doing such, then I will agree with you (and yes, some far right thinking promotes this), but until then, they are exercising their free market power and choice as Target is also choosing to do. Who wins out all depends on if Target loses money because of this and if they do, well... they will change or accept their reduced profits for their decisions.

See? Everyone is free in the market to act as they will.
