She's lucky she is still breathing. The cops almost blew her away. The only reason she's alive is because she followed directions

My thoughts exactly. I thought going to MIT meant you are smart.
Better she did it in a US airport than in, let's say, Russia or maybe Israel.

If you recall, Logan Airport is where the planes originated that hit the twin towers, so is it really surprising that her little "joke" didn't go over so well?

She is absolutely lucky she was not shot dead on the spot, which would have been fine by me if she was.
Real funny prank. I bet all the family members in the Boston area especially, who lost loved ones aboard the hijacked flights which took off from Logan, are laughing their arses off.
As for her miniscule bail? I guess that's what to expect from liberal Massachusetts judges.

What an incredibly STUPID stunt!
Of course in liberal Massachusetts, I wouldn't be surprised if some sickos consider her a "hero" now...

Can You See My Point?
I'm using this thread as an example, but you can find more of these example in everyday life here in the U.S. if you just open your eyes. When the white kid or kids hung the three nooses on a tree at their Jena High School some folks of the white complexion felt that it was just a prank and a form of free speech. It's not causing any harm they say. You (meaning the black people) need to get over it. When this MIT student wore this all the sudden the joke or prank isn't so funny. Her right of freedom of speech by wearing her shirt which she said was of artistic nature was condemned. Why did the symbol on her shirt conjured up so much emotion. Why does the President of Iran's visit to New York to lay a wreath at the site of Ground Zero come with such outcry. When African Americans speak against things such as a noose the rest of America seems unsympathetic. Why? Is it a double standard. Even if your not an African American I'm pretty sure that the majority of you know and understand what a noose symbolizes when its hung from a tree.

But if putting the public at risk of panic isn't, maybe it should be. Sort of like screaming "fire!" in a crowded theater.
