That's the problem. This is all treated as a game. My side versus your side. Truth doesn't matter. Solving the root of problems doesn't matter. As long as this remains, we will continue downward.

The root of the problem begins with who the "People" have elected to Congress and The White House.

What a ridiculous thread! The initial premise is just wrong, and then it goes downhill from there.

I can tell you that the town adjoining mine is comprised primarily of people who make 7 figures or more a year, the average house is probably worth several million, yet that town is overwhelmingly Democratic.

You admire a person for WHO they are, not how much money they've accumulated or been given.

I didn't write this, but I like what it says:

Not - How did he die? But - How did he live?
Not - What did he gain? But - What did he give?

These are the things that measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.

Not - What was his station? But - had he a heart?
And - How did he play his God-given part?

Was he ever ready with a word of good cheer?
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?

Not - What was his church? Not - What was his creed?
But - Had he befriended those really in need?

Not - What did the sketch in the newspaper say?
But - How many were sorry when he passed away?

These are the things that measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.

How do the Occupy Wall Street protesters feel about rich people?

Do they have a favorable opinion of CEO's?

Democrats are always out to take more from the wealthy.

Maybe you should actually listen to what the Democrats here are saying, instead of just parroting what RushGlen says. Statements like the above are so foolish that I hardly believe anyone can believe this.

Occupy Wall Street protestors are a segment of the liberal spectrum, but certainly not everybody. The main thrust I got from the protests was that Wall Street has robbed ALL OF US and that a disproportionate amount of resources are lavished on wall street CEOs and taken from the middle class and the poor. I'm not sure if I feel its completely true or not, but it certainly makes me pause and think (versus sqawking talking points like a parrot).

I am a CEO. I have a favorable opinion of some and not of others. You see, nothing in the world is really as black and white.

As far as taking from the wealthy goes, anyone with a brain knows the country is in financial trouble and concessions must be made on the revenue and the spending side. If you are going to raise revenue, it should be from the rich who are (percentage wise) undertaxed and not from the poor who have no money to begin with....

I would agree that the OWS protesters are trying to say the above. I disagree with them.

Another point to be made about the OWS protesters is that by their method of protest - they have cost taxpayers millions and millions of dollars due to damage and police overtime. They are not helpful to anyone and are harmful to this country.

What Rich People Do Democrats Admire?

Other than Obama, I mean.
Why would democrats admire people they hate?

Going by your logic here...
