Considering that Bush got us into these useless wars, wouldn't they respect obama a bit more for getting us out?
It seems like Mrs Obama and Mrs Biden are out there supporting military families as their pet cause besides child nutrition. Does that count for anything?
Neither party Dem or Repub seems(ed) to be adept at giving the returning vets what they're asking for. They are still whining that they don't get enough.
I wonder why any Dem candidate would even reach out to the military ppl. They seem to bite the Dems' hands off with every good gesture that the Dems extend to them.

There wasn't a single apology in that video anywhere. Of course, that moron Hannity called each instance an apology. But the hard truth is that he rarely seems to have anything resembling a grasp on reality.
Obama pointintng out the obvious fact that America has been "off course" and made some "hasty decisions" is nowhere near an apology. It's the unfortunate legacy of the failed BushII administration. And everyone on earth knows it. It's obvious to children. You Obamaphobes really have to sink into fantasy to maintain your phony outrage.
Not mentioned yet is Obama bowing to the Saudi King and Japanese Prime Minister, which infuriated millions, including many service members. Members of the military tend to be more conservative than the general population, it has always been that way, it did not start with Obama. One example of the animosity toward Obama by some service members is the recent expelling of Sgt. Stein USMC from the service for openly stating on Facebook that he would not obey orders from Obama that he considered unlawful and unconstitutional. Finally, yes indeed, the repeal of DADT has angered many. Have heard of a few senior NCO's that have left the service in disgust rather than accept this decision.
The left in this country despise the troops, spit on em, the code pinko lunatics try and block the marine recruiting station (for some reason they aren't now wonder why) the dems in congress try and defund the war, you have murtha calling em killers and murderers, call em ignorant and they join the army because they can't do anything else and on and on and you fools come on here wondering why they don't support democrats? And you expect to be taken serious?

Or maybe it is because Obama has gotten more US troops killed in Afghanistan during his first two years as President, than Bush did during his eight years as President.

The military people took a very serious oath. Remember? They swore to defend our Constitution against
all enemies, both foreign and Domestic! Several members of my family took this oath. They speak as if they never dreamed they would, in their lifetimes actually encounter a "domestic" enemy of our Founding Principles.
Now, stop and think....not being condescending, but sincere.
WHAT does "Fundamental Transformation" really mean?! Obama said he would "fundamentally transform" our nation.
Of course the problem is that our
CONSTITUTION *is* our Fundamentals which are presented in that founding document. See a potential problem here?
Simply put, how could anyone, not see what is really happeing. When put the way you put it, how can anyone not see.
I know people serving right now, that do not care for Obama at all, that does not mean if they were to see the President of the US that they would not be excited.
Whether you like him or not, has nothing to do with wanting to be cordial, and sincere, and excited at the same time. Not every day, they get to see their President.
