Greece IS a mess. Either they're cut loose or they do have to clean up their mess. Many other countries over there are also F'ed up like Ireland, Spain and so on.

China is hitting ITS wall with not enough people being born so ITS prices are going up to the point that companies are starting to make stuff here in the US again.

I thought all the libs consider it more or less a paradise, where manufacturing is robust, employment is stable, and vacations are aplenty?

They do -- so they won't be able to fuss about what it really is.

This Greater German Reich has been created by the bankers without a shot being fired. There are past due for a minor colonial revolt by the peripheral states being economically exploited by the Empire. The German bankers lent money to support sales from the core. They should not expect these to be paid back in cash as they were paid by the colonies buying German manufactured goods.

Exactly. How many threads have we endured whereas Germany has been touted as the Savior and the model that America should aspire to be?

To funny. No one forced the PIGS to buy German products. But the chickens have come home to roost now, and the PIGS will pick up the tab. When will Liberals ever be responsible for their own actions?

That - makes no sense whatsoever.

If Greece's government had had the testicular fortitude to tax their population - particularly the higher-income brackets - the way the German government does, Greece would be in much better shape today. But when you make "no tax audits in election years!" policy, you can't really be surprised when the income from taxes drops like a rock.

You must admit that Germany and China are awfully similar. Germany treats Europe, like China is treating the rest of the World. Huge trade-surplus, undervalued currency, etc.

Greece's public transit system is more costly than paying for a private taxi for every citizen in Athens to commute to their job. I'm sure that has something to do with it also.
