The founding fathers were clear about the dangers of career politicians, central banks, and corporations. By our sins of omission we have allowed what was once the hope of mankind to become a corporate owned travesty which is in danger of imploding. Anyone who believes there is any difference between the 2 political parties is an idiot of the 1st magnitude. If you have any compassion for generations to come, vote for anyone except a Republican or Democrat. If enough people do, it will send the word to D.C. that it is not buisness as usual, and we may have the chance to salvage some of what we inherited to pass on to the future.

If only 43 congressman were NOT rep/dem which party would have the majority? If ten senators were neither rep nor dem, whose party would be Prez Pro-Tem?

Congress... 535 reasons to support term limits, with NO benefits and NO grandfathering tenure. Send these jackals home now.

There is no need for political parties. The only thing we need is leaders who lead by example and who empower others to lead themselves. As the current structure falls, we must consciously take responsibility for what follows. It cannot be dictated to us. It cannot be forced upon us. Since the likelihood of abandoning these corrupt and entrenched political parties is slim, we must be diligent in our focus of retaining power for the people and not be led down the path to totalitarianism or fascism. Anything less is not the UNITED States. Divided, we are putty in the hands of the elite.

Mmmmm, I wouldn't call them 'elite'. I'm sure there's a far more degrading word.

Ho ho ho

How long will it take before the people start feeling more pain from the republican and democratic parties? When the health care system collapses and the nation goes into depression? When the top 5% of America start moving their corporations out of the U.S. to Mexico, China(not just the Jobs but the entire operations). When China stops exporting their goods here as it will be to their advantage to sell to their own bulging population? When the nations' borders have ceased to exist and their is no law but vigilantes like in the old West? The list goes on and on. Obviously we have no government as such right now as these issues are not being addressed by republicans and the democrats don't have the guts to tackle them. In my opinion, I don't think a new party will come about but a good 'ol revolution. I hope its not
of the level of the '64 civil rights burning of cities, etc but I feel something is coming our way, sooner or later. Stay tuned to CNN for the latest!!

Didn't Ross Perot give this a shot fairly recently? Any ideas why it didn't work then, but would work now?

I know what we should do! Let's elect an obscure congressman from Texas who thinks it's 1809! He can eliminate the income tax, put us on the gold standard, bring back the barter system, tell our allies around the world to go suck eggs, and build a big old wall all around the country! That will guarantee full employment and use up all those excess bricks we have lying around.

Then we can all bury our money in the back yard, safe from the Jew bankers and their sneaky city ways. And stockpile acorns.

But we've gotta keep our little president away from the media, especially those mean old folks at Fox. They make him upset and unhappy. And when he gets upset, he goes and pouts. Then there's no one around to remind us to blow out the candles we use to light our homes in the absence of electricity, since we aren't allowed to import petroleum anymore.

Anyone except the status quo. The system needs to be shaken up. The lemings voting the party line have driven the country into a ditch. The politicians are out of control, bathroom sexcapades, freezers full of money, bribary convictions, a federal deficit that puts every household in America $300,000 in debt, can we really do any worse? In a democracy you get the goverment you deserve. At this point in time we deserve the corrupt goverment we have because we have not done our duty as citizens to keep it in check. The only question is how far will we let things go until something is done?
