Straights celebrate heterosexuality by making babies.

Screw the parade.

So in your mind a Christmas parade is the same as a "white" or "gay" parade?

Talk about warped......

The arguement was over dominance. Christmas is the dominant holiday. I didn't think I would have to explain that.

Straight pride parades are everyday, all-day occurrences.

I think many many Americans would disagree that Christmas is the dominant holiday. The 4th of July comes to mind as does Thanksgiving.

Christmas has become nothing more than the dominant sales event of the year....

I am guessing it would have the same turnout as most modern white pride parades.

You know the ones with more protestors than participants.

However, if it involves women dressed as scantily as the dudes in gay pride parades

If the idea was valid we would only have Hannakah parades.

Ok. Christmas parades are a celebration of Christianity. Gay parades are a celebration of gayness . . .and the gay parade celebration is political . . .Christmas parades are absent the politics and just the dominant culture doin' it's thing.

A straight parade would be a parody or mocking of a gay parade because straight people already have all of the perks that come with being full human beings . . .there is nothing to celebrate because the privilege is invisible and happens every day . . .

That doesn't explain why it's wrong for all people to celebrate who they are.
