To be a little fair to Obama -- much of the poverty is imported, and Obama didn't import all of it, much of it was imported by Bush and Clinton (the Master of the NAFTA treaty). All that dirt cheap labor that Bush felt was needed, their extremely high birth rates and tendency to have large numbers of children that they can never afford -- not back home and certainly not here.
Bush also knew that American workers were being displaced both by NAFTA and massive immigration. Obama's big problem is he didn't turn around the stupid policies of both Clinton and Bush. He even expanded NAFTA and is promising a very large amnesty to any foreigner who would break this country's laws and come here illegally. But -- he certainly isn't the first president to do this. He's just the one that is presiding over the main effects of these policies.
Capitalism is dead, baby. And Obama has nothing to do with it.
Oh no...he is just an innocent bystander who happens to be sitting in the White House...give me a large break.
