If you are referring to gay rights and marriage, then I agree with you. There is nothing immoral about that because it is natural and bothers nobody else.
I am referring to such things as drug sales, adultery, child abuse etc. where there are definite victims.
Those things we shuld not turn a blind eye too.
That's exactly my point, people spend to much time worrying about gay marriage and abortion instead pedophiles, rapist and sex slave traders.
As long as my tax dollars don't go toward their stupid mistakes, have at it...I don't care what they do!
I agree, but the fact is that your tax dollars DO go there. The teenage mother (and father)--your tax dollars go for her WIC, food stamps, etc. The guy who drinks himself into obvivion--your tax dollars go to his housing & disability check. Most federal tax dollars now go to social spending and most social spending is the direct result of behavior.
The older I get, the less issue I have with the nanny state. I'd rather have the freedom, but if we're going to have a welfare state, give me a nanny state to go with it.
, but if we're going to have a welfare state, give me a nanny state to go with it.
I would prefer neither.
