I could not care why someone commited a murder, the result is the same and the punishment should fit the crime committed, in this case, the most that the state law allows.
Another black-on-white crime? yawn. The mainstream media only cares about black crime victims if the perpetrator is an evil white person. This sad story of a pizza delivery murder will be ignored, swept under the rug, there will be no hate crime charges, and the poor lady will end up being just another forgotten statistic in the Democrats' simmering race war.
And people care about Black and Black crime? I'm not saying that White victims aren't relevant. What I am saying is that when it comes to Black people are crime, people only mention it in the context of "Blacks are a criminal race and need to be controlled". Rarely does anyone mention that Blacks are the most likely to be murdered in the USA. No one seems to mention the Black child who gets killed because he was caught in the crossfire of a gang shooting. No one seems to be tackling the issue of the "snitches get stitches" policy. If you are Black, live in the ghetto, and you inform on a criminal, your chances of getting murdered will be MUCH higher.

I didn't say anything about deterrence. I just said that Georgia still has a higher crime rate in spite of having the death penalty.
I know correlation does not equal causation. My point is that it doesn't make a difference. People with a violent "I don't care if I live or die, and I don't care who dies" mentality are out there.

Sad but true. There are many people who would never admit that a Black person's life mean's nothing to them, therefore, not mentioning Black on Black murders.

I'm a critic of the death penalty. I'm not convinced that it would deter crime. If the point is to lower the crime rate, why is it not working?
