I believe he will not have a choice or he will hurt Obama's changes for a new 4 years, even more....not that Obama has much of a chance but the bad news for Obama keeps coming....it is almost coming to a point that I start to feel sorry for him....
Sen. Cornyn says that Holder's stonewalling is not personal
During today's Senate questioning of Holder about Fast and Furios Cornyn came out for an interview with Fox and refused to agree that Holder saying he is ready to deal was any more than more cover-up. I agree that Holder wants to keep that whole thing covered up till after the election. I have never thought he was trying to cover up for Obama but now it appears it may be what he is doing.
The video is from Fox so be careful that they didn't stage it with actors.
At least they are finally getting off their azzes and doing something. I still think Grassley and Issa are wanting a payback to hush this thing up once and for all. I don't trust Grassley as far as I could throw TRob and that aint very far.
One of the roles of a Cabinent officer is to protect the President. No matter who that President is, nor from which political party. I don't doubt that Holder is attempting to do that. However, by "protecting" I mean protect him from unfair attacks in the media and/or by his enemies. It will take a lot to convince me that the President had a hand in the fast and furious maneuvers. Only the 'tin foil hat' brigade will believe that, IMO.
i hope not. Compared to the anti-american value ags president bush appointed ... I think we're fortunate to have someone of general holder's character and integrity in the post.
He won't unless the news media were to really turn up the heat on him, which they won't. In a world where news media do their jobs, he'd be gone by now. In fact, he would've been gone along time ago.
