That still doesn't explain their claim that there are only about 600K non-Mexican illegals. 58% (according to PEW Hispanic center from this year) of illegals are Mexican and using the 24 million number would mean there are about 13.9 million illegal Mexicans. That would leave 10.1 million illegals which are not Mexican not the 600,000 the site claims.

LOL You're not getting it are you. There are two types of people in Haiti........THE POOR AND THE RICH! I.e. that's a striking feature of a third world craphole. THE MIDDLE CLASS PAYS the most in taxes! While the rich suck off the government, the poor, the middle class, i.e. EVERYONE! Without the middle class the rich would have no one to sell to and no one to fund and subsidize their cheap illegal labor.
I'm a liberal and I understand why some people oppose illegal immigration; it does have to stop as the U.S. can only hold so much. According to a few sources Mexican immigration has lowered substantially these past few years (not sure about central and south Americans) which is good. However, I take issue with conservatives trying to blame every problem in the U.S. on illegals, it's true that they might be affecting the economy in some way with taking some jobs, but I feel that would affect the lower class Americans far more than the middle class which is taking a hard hit at the moment. There are also reports that several companies are making record profits and they have their tax cuts yet instead of creating more jobs they're moving to other countries, how are illegals to blame in those instances? As for paying for school, they can apply for FAFSA or other loans to help pay for classes, I don't see how illegals effect this system.

obviously, illegals are not to blame for everything that goes wrong in this country-for the rest we can blame congress and the president.
if we didn't have so much restrictive legislation, licenses, fees, "zones", etc., we could have businesses replacing those that left, and the door could hit the departing businesses on their way out.
i think that businesses that leave the country should be taxed at a higher rate than businesses that stay strictly in the united states.
our country has become a country which REWARDS lawbreakers and bad behavior-from illegal immigrants, welfare/social service cheats scamming the system, the bankers and their obscene bonuses after socialized bailouts, politicians raising their own salaries and benefits when the people they serve are struggling,etc.--not to mention the LIE of all those people living in homes not paying mortgages or rent, because that also preserves a LIE.
and, of course, obamacare is a disaster for business, so we will have to see how that plays out.
all of this is unsustainable, of course, and the question just becomes when will we default and what form will it take.
we have to try to get a system in place where small businesses can start up without too much aggravation, and productivity is again encouraged in this country, and bad behavior is actually punished instead of rewarded.
everyone benefits from a system where they are incentivized to be good.
