The rich don't have a huge tax burden, they look at people like you and hope to god they keep believing that.............that's EXACTLY how they want you to think. Poor rich..without them we'd have no jobs, no money, and no hope........ Pathetic you are and the other Americans who can't see how the wealthy elite are just as bad as the illegal poor third worlders. The funny thing is most of these rich have made MILLIONS and BILLIONS off the same people WE SUPPORT with our taxes and free welfare programs. Not only do they suck off the tax paying Americans but the rich also suck off the third world illegals with their cheap labor and legal vulnerabilities. So in my eyes the rich are even worse than the illegals.
So who pays the most taxes? the poor? Without the rich, the poor would not get their freebees.. we here would be Haiti.

illegals have anchor babies,, they are legal and sucking the system too.

Bob Dylan: The Times They Are A-Changin'

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin'
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'.

The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin'
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'.
Clearly not for the better........

Yeah in the private kitchens and houses of the rich, or in the businesses owned by the rich aka McDonalds or meat packing facilities. Yeah and that paycheck goes to multinational companies owned by guess who......THE RICh! Your braindead compartmentalized thinking is all too prevalent in America nowadays. nice try lady! But the rich are just as much if not more of a burden on US society than any number of illegals. They control government, control our money, control our food supply, all the while holding the utmost respect and admiration from the same peopel they are bending over and telling to grad their ankles....American's like you. I'm much more worried about the next fnancial guru on WallStreet and his "creative fnancial tool" he'll use to implode the US economy while he drives off in his Maserati than I am about some third world illegal spending his or her paycheck on fancy rims for their 1980 Dodge Caravan with rust all over while his kids suck off WIC and foodstamps. While both are a drain on the US tax payer, the former is much more indisious and destructive over the long term.

Last time I checked only 25% of Hispanics use welfare and from those 25% not all of them are illegal.

LOL You're not getting it are you. There are two types of people in Haiti........THE POOR AND THE RICH! I.e. that's a striking feature of a third world craphole. THE MIDDLE CLASS PAYS the most in taxes! While the rich suck off the government, the poor, the middle class, i.e. EVERYONE! Without the middle class the rich would have no one to sell to and no one to fund and subsidize their cheap illegal labor.

However, I take issue with conservatives trying to blame every problem in the U.S. on illegals, it's true that they might be affecting the economy in some way with taking some jobs, but I feel that would affect the lower class Americans far more than the middle class which is taking a hard hit at the moment. There are also reports that several companies are making record profits and they have their tax cuts yet instead of creating more jobs they're moving to other countries, how are illegals to blame in those instances? As for paying for school, they can apply for FAFSA or other loans to help pay for classes, I don't see how illegals effect this system.
at least you are a thinking liberal.

obviously, illegals are not to blame for everything that goes wrong in this country-for the rest we can blame congress and the president.

if we didn't have so much restrictive legislation, licenses, fees, "zones", etc., we could have businesses replacing those that left, and the door could hit the departing businesses on their way out.

i think that businesses that leave the country should be taxed at a higher rate than businesses that stay strictly in the united states.

our country has become a country which REWARDS lawbreakers and bad behavior-from illegal immigrants, welfare/social service cheats scamming the system, the bankers and their obscene bonuses after socialized bailouts, politicians raising their own salaries and benefits when the people they serve are struggling,etc.--not to mention the LIE of all those people living in homes not paying mortgages or rent, because that also preserves a LIE.

and, of course, obamacare is a disaster for business, so we will have to see how that plays out.

all of this is unsustainable, of course, and the question just becomes when will we default and what form will it take.

we have to try to get a system in place where small businesses can start up without too much aggravation, and productivity is again encouraged in this country, and bad behavior is actually punished instead of rewarded.

everyone benefits from a system where they are incentivized to be good.
