So after seven years of investigating Barry Bonds and five years going after Clemons we end up with one count of obstruction against Bonds. I wonder how much this nonsense all cost the US taxpayers?? What a waste of time and resources.

They must have "mis-remembered" how damning the evidence was.

I agree. This is not a valid function of our government.

People like Bonds or Clemens and don't forget Mark MacGuire are the ideal for young America in that you can lie, cheat and steal and if need be lawyer your way out of anything just like John Edwards. It you need an edge just reach for the right drug or chemical just like Lance Armstrong! I wonder what Superdooper Man shot up on from the Planet Krypton!

Folks have been throwing spitballs, stealing signs etc since the inception of baseball. Never mind that though as your missing the point. Congress and the DOJ don't need to be going on roid hunts in MLB which turn into he lied to congress hunts which turn into millions of dollars and time and resources wasted for nothing.

You want to argue about Bonds/McGuire then get rid of the hot potato ball. Roids don't make you a better hitter just make you recover faster. Wonder if Ripkin ever juiced. He only played what 2700 straight games. He's a golden boy though.

Yet another reason to vote anti-incumbent.

Most people would use PED's(Performance enhancing drugs), Pain killers to play through bad injuries to extend your carear and anyhting else to Land a Multi-Million doller a year contract in Pro-sports..

What ever it takes to win for your team even if it effects your own personal health in the long Run is the way pro-sports are supposed to be played IMO

Then again I am a hockey Fan and well we are a diffrent breed of sports fans where a handful of pain killers, A shot of Cortisone and some smelling salts and you go play the rest of the series with broken Ribs and a fractured arm and it is expected of players to do so without saying a word about how bad they are really hurt.
