Both parties are traitors to The Constitution and to America.
As much as you would like to bring up the US Constitution, you're technically looking at the problems at local levels.

Oh - one more thing. People who make unhealthy lifestyle choices should pay for the consequences through higher health insurance rates.
That makes sense and already happens somewhat (with smokers)

People who have unprotected sex, heavy alcohol users, stoners, crackheads, smokers and unhealthy eaters all qualify as poor lifestyle choices

They should all have higher premiums than those of us who are responsible and healthy

No. While I support someone's right to drink as much as they want, once they become a danger to others the law needs to step in.

There's nothing inherently dangerous about being drunk in public, and you're not putting anyone in danger when you're on the corner getting hammered.

So what's your problem w/ public drunkenness?

Real good logic as always from the left...

Regardless, no matter how lame your attempt is to spin yourself dizzy..... it is personal control over peoples personal lives

While you are at it, why don't you explain how draconian the laws banning MMA in the so called "progressive" state of NY.... while every other state allows it

They are essentially trying to make certain size portions of soda illegal. This just sounds ridiculous. And how are you going to be sure that 92 oz big gulp is all just for myself? We're splitting it 8 ways. Chill government.

Drunk people are impaired, careless and sometimes aggressive. Why do you think so many fights happen in bars? Ever drive through a bar district on Thursday night? I've often seen drunks nearly falling off the curb into incoming traffic.

Eight ways is going to be epic backwash

Though my wife and I always split a large soda at the movies. So instead of getting a $5 44oz. soda we would have to buy 2 sodas for $10.

So public drunkenness is a problem that affects society by & large?

Do politicians and policy-makers on the left feel we're simply too irresponsible to make these decisions on our own?
Because the left truly believes that they are sooooo brilliant, that only THEY know how everyone should live their lives. They want the govt "to stay out of their bedroom", but they're all for intruding into every other room in the house.
