I hope ‪#Holder‬'s thejusticedept will reconsider, but I'm not optimistic. ‪#contempt‬ vote is on for tomorrow. ‪#fastandfurious‬

Wish I could report ‪#Holder‬ delivered the docs we need to get to the truth in ‪#fastandfurious‬. He didn't

After our meeting, we're on for a ‪#Holder‬ ‪#contempt‬ vote tomorrow. Didn't have to come to this
Finally. This man has had long enough to comply, and has failed to do so. All he had to do was tell the truth and produce the documents, which he refused.

Let us hope, this leads to his firing or resignation. He has been a black eye to our Justice Department from day one. From deciding which cases to take on by race, to Fast/Furious, to not appoint an independent to investigate WH leaks. Frankly, if Obama cared how incompetent and crooked his DOJ looked, he wouldve gotten rid of him a long time ago. In fact, if he cared about Holder's past, he never would have picked him.

I won't hold my breath. Republicans have always been the eternal optimists (that means naive to the Dems,) leading to them believing a promise will be kept. Holder will promise something, throw out some crumbs, and the entire thing will go away. The Republicans will again be left holding an empty bag and in need of a double shot of viagra.

Yeah, that was the reason for this meeting. He failed again, only playing games. His time is up. I say, even if he shows up with docs tomorrow, too bad. He's had months and months to comply.

Holder is basically a leftover attack dog from the Clinton years. As long as he can keep the focus off of the
economy Obama will keep him out there. Holder has always been part of the "Chicago Good Old Boys " club.
I don't think a contempt of congress charge is going to change his outlook much. Somethings never change.

It wont. By time Congress can take any action on the Contempt charges, the November election will be over, Obama will pardon him going out the door.

This is a huge thing for Romney to beat and beat and beat on. A law enforcement officer was killed because of the incompetence of the justice dept.

I can see Romney trotting out the family.

By ignorant attacks, are you arguing that he did turn over the relevant documents or that he shouldn't have to turn over documents about a program under his administration that put guns in the hands of illegal drug cartels and resulted in deaths?
