Obama claims that he didn't know anything about it. We may never know - there is no transparency.
We do already know that he ordered Operation Fast & Furious in 2009 and used TARP funding for the straw purchases. Obama first floated the 90% lie on April 2009 on his first visit to Latin America as POTUS. Furthermore, we know that Sec. of State Clinton did not issue the DOJ a waiver to traffik gun out of the country. Sec. Napolitano testified she did not know about Operation Fast & Furious and yet it has come to light that the DEA was also involved. Isn't it the business of DHS to know what is happening at and across our borders with the agencies which report to it?
Either there is gross incompetance by the cabinet members of the Obama administration, or, there are a whole lot of falsehoods being told while under oath before members of Congress. Either way, AG-Holder and the others should be removed and where appropriate, indicted.
This may be a little too cynical but then again not sure we can put anything past these people. Does anyone consider that there may be more to this than just guns. That maybe our highest law dog and accompices might be involved in laundering drug money etc. I know that's pretty severe statement but the whole gun running thing is so bizarre one has to wonder how deep this thing could be. If holder shows up in a limo with whitewal tires...I'm just sayin'

Since this started under the Bush administration, why were no members from his administration called to testify? Remember now, Eric Holder inherited it and ended it.

Bush was Wide Receiver, weapons were tagged and followed, with assist from Mexican government. The goal to catch illegal gun trade.
Fast and Furious was Obama/Holder, U.S. government selling weapons to unknown buyers for transport across the border, without knowledge or (obviously) cooperation of the Mexican government. The purpose to lay claim for reason to restrict gun sale and ownership by U.S. citizens.

WASHINGTON - New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious operation as far back as July 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress.
