How terrible for these people. Close to two years and they still don't know who is responsible (we DO really know, don't we?) for the ill-conceived program started by the obama administration that killed their son.

Say, did anyone notice that the White House Press Secretary *forgot* Brian Terry's name today? I was going to start a thread about it, but I am pretty sure that it would be moved to this thread in less than a nanosecond.
Another thing bothers me about this whole situation. The bought-and-paid-for lame stream media are lapdog whores for the Democrat Party and they know it. Each and every one of them who fails to investigate this story knows deep down inside that they are cowardly trash. Hundreds of human beings including a U.S. Border Patrol agent are DEAD because of this scheme and all the media can do is hyena-laugh at Romney like that human gizzard Andrea Mitchell did recently. Sickening.

The lunatic fringe is banking on the ignorance of its supporters. Issa voted to fund Project Gunrunner in June 2008. The bill was called Assistance for Mexico and Central America for Anti-Drug Programs.
A subsection of the bill is called The Project Gunrunner Initiative.
The bill was created by George W. Bush and passed into law by Congress and, as I just wrote, debated and supported by Issa. Yet he claims he knew nothing about such a project.
This witch hunt is to distract people, promote gun sales and create panic. Although Obama got an "F" from the Brady Campaign on every issue concerning gun control, the Republicans continue to promote conspiracy theories that he is trying to take away everyone's 2nd Amendment Rights. It's so ludicrous that I have trouble even discussing this matter intelligently with anyone who believes this crap. Holder is only a target because they want to violate the rights of voters and need to get whoever might defend those rights out of the way before the Nov election. They also want to embarrass this administration and will do everything possible to discredit Obama.

And sorry but Holder has had plenty of time to provide answers and docs. He stonewalled and lied. Now 18 months later Obama inserts himself into this by EP. All they had to do was turn over what was asked. Who's fault is it Nancy that they are acting like they have something to hide?
For decades we've had a problem with lack of oversight of federal law enforcement agencies. In the 1960s the FBI harassed people in the civil rights movement who were nothing more than political activists, which ain't supposed to happen in America. Then later there were various FBI and ATF debacles such as the Richard Jewel case, and the Ruby Ridge case. In Ruby Ridge, a woman holding a baby was shot and killed by an FBI a sniper because someone in command had adopted unusual rules of engagement. Congress tried to find out who was responsible for the ROE, but never found out, as a code of silence prevailed. They should have fired everyone in the chain of command starting with the sniper and going up to the director and let them shut up with no salaries and no pensions. Of course they didn't do that.
Now finally at long last, Congress is doing its job of oversight over its internal army. What is the reaction of most democrats? Basically three things---obstruct, obstruct, obstruct. A real liberal would be happy to see this finally happening. Unfortunately we have precious few real liberals left in the Democratic party, as this episode proves.

Oh Hannutty will be alright. Don't worry so. As far as the actual News programs coverage of the Witch Hunt, I think they learned from the FOX push of the Breitfart's made up "exposing" of Shirley Sherrod.
