Liddy Destroys an Irony Meter | Dispatches from the Culture Wars

Convicted felon and orchestrator of the Watergate break-in G. Gordon Liddy calls the Obama administration the most corrupt administration he's ever seen. He then states, without a shred of irony, that the people involved "can't tell the truth to save their souls."

I think we have found the ultimate example of the pot calling the kettle black here. The shamelessness of our political pundits continue to astound me.

Gotta make ya wonder just when he got his sight back, apparently he was blind during the Nixon era. Maybe holding one's hand in a flame has healing powers?

Well, he certainly told the truth when he made this statement.

So what's your point?

That he's the same lying POS he's always been and wouldn't know the truth if it bit him in his sorry ass?

Is this the same guy that tells his listeners to "aim at their heads" when confronted with government agents?

That tool is a perfect example of the type blowhards right wingers like to listen to these days. As if he has the credibility to weigh in on anyone, especially a President. He disgraced his country and the presidency.

Yeah. And he's a convicted felon. Most convicted felons aren't allowed to say things like that, but I guess talk radio hosts don't have to follow the same rules as everyone else.

He may not have come up with the plan (that was Nixon) but he still carried it out. My big issue with Liddy is how hypocritical he sounds in blasting corruption in the current administration when he himself was a big player in a very corrupt administration.
