Nope, I get the impression that he's just a pretty laid back guy but I'd love to know what issues do ruffle his feathers!

Are you suggesting that Latinos might be a bit upset that 0bama just asserted executive privilege in Fast & Furious, to prevent the truth from coming out? That they might be upset that 0bama's admin is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Mexicans, and is interfering with the investigation?

I'm a middle aged black man. I can't afford to be p*ssed off about everything i see. I don't want to develop chronic Hypertension because of some dinnerware.

I don't know why you'd ask me something like that. But i've yet to encounter anything that makes me so angry that a nice piece of Florida Black Grouper and a great wine can't cure.

Besides, life is good. Why in the hell should i be perpetually angry?

I only play the race card when handed a race deck.

And just like there may be a race card industry on the left, there is an industry on the right that claims that NOTHING is ever racist no matter how blantant it is.

But i don't wanna go back and forth over that stuff. I'm just clarifying.

Um...people that don't go along with the fact that Miles Davis and Charlie Parker are God and God Jr., John Coltrane is equivalent to Jesus, and Jazz is the greatest religion that's ever been invented.

If someone doesn't agree with me on those facts, then my feathers get ruffled. LOL

Just curious. In most threads you're like "Bah..who cares".
Maybe more of us should be so happy go lucky (and I mean that in a good way).

Not a big wine person, eh?

I'm fanatical about it myself. Especially Riesling.

Still though, i can't see why folks get so angry over petty stuff. This is really no big ass deal.

Is this normal for these high dollar a plate fundraising dinners?

One wouldn’t think so, given the hundreds of lunches and dinners he’s attended ranging from state dinners to political fundraisers to run-of-the-mill stops on the rubber-chicken circuit.

However, at one such lunch Friday afternoon, guests heard an unusual announcement that they needed to hand over their silverware for security reasons.

“It’s very important that you use your utensils as soon as possible,” National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials board member Raquel Regalado told about 1000 delegates at the group’s annual conference.

I doubt that most social conservatives would have thought that a Latino fundraising event would even have need of utensils. Who eats tacos with a fork and knife?
