Anyone can network and find employment connections if they sell their skills and get some business cards and be ready for the opportunity that can come from being qualified. Motivation goes along way and more skills added as life goes on..

I don't think you get any points for being white in a job interview. What you do get points for is being a relative, or friend or have a contact who is a relative or friend of a managerial employee. Given the fact that our society is still quite segregated and given the fact that whites still dominate managerial positions this does mean many whites have an advantage in the hiring process. It ain't what you know it is who you know still often rings true.
QFT +100. You see this alot here in California, where many immigrants (especially Asians) are disproportionately employed by their own countrymen as they don't have the network or connections in majority-American companies...
Some outstanding things about what racism really is and why so many of us who are called racists because we don't like the policies of our President are getting tired of it. Some great examples of what real racism is and how it shows its ugly head too many times. One about children is outstanding as an example of what racism really is.
I saw alot of racism when I lived in KCMO in the early 90's coming from blacks. I was dating a black woman and got almost all of the hatred and racism directed towards me from blacks. neither she nor I liked it at all. just goes to show that any race can have racism directed towards them.
Assuming you're a female. would you also come to the same conclusion that men aren't inherently priveleged simply for the sake of being born men in a male dominated society?
Just because she's female most definately does not that mean she is she is going to be at all sympathetic to what "minorities" have to go through in this country...
