If you can find a company that has been polling for racism, would they also have polls on those voting for Obama based on race? I would love to see stats on this. This would be a tough poll to pull off scientifically. I'd love to see how it's done.
A poll wouldn’t be the right way to gage racism towards Obama. People would just flat out lie… There aren’t too many people who are willing to admit they have a problem… The best way to gage something like this would be to look carefully at the opposition movements and the racism towards past presidents. The proof is in the pudding…

I'm willing to bet money no one can beat her in the 35th district. The only way she'll be out before retirement is by redistricting.

I don't dislike Pelosi like the raging Republicans but I'm not a fan... She should have whipped those blue dog democrats into shape and got more done when we had the house...

Do you think it was racist when Obama said that it was Republicans turn to sit in the back of the bus?
I agree that sometimes things can be worded in a way that can be perceived as racist...but is it always? Who makes the call?

One thing that comes to mind is a while ago people were talking about the black hole and someone tried to find racism in that.

You may not believe it but Obamas poll numbers show he is liked on about the same level as Bush at times. Now I don't really want to say Bush was disliked because of his race because I didn't like some of his policies myself. In the same way, many people don't like Obama's policies and I would say with just as much disgust.

I hear what you’re trying to say. But when I gage the racism towards Obama I’m only including unmistakable racism. I don’t include the stuff said like “it’s going to be a dark day”, or “black hole” etc. I only include things like a congressman yelling out you lie while the president was addressing congress, water melons on the white house lawn, racist emails by party officials, super imposing Obama’s face on monkeys, etc.
