Morsi wins Egypt presidential election - Middle East - Al Jazeera English

This is going to be interesting and most likely make matters even worse in that region

Good for Egypt and the Brotherhood.

I couldn't possibly care less. If they like it, i'm in love with it.

Seems to me that this is exactly what self-determination is all about....picking your own leadership and living with the consequences. Aint my business to tell them who should run their country.

Obama helped put the Muslim Brotherhood in power. This MB take-over is part of the Arab Spring operations that Obama not only support but was behind it. When the MB can't take-over a country themselves, like in Libya, then Obama steps in with our military to give them the upper hand. Same thing is happening in Syria.

Default Obama...'1st do no harm" is a dumb idea

Dir of Nat intelligence is at odds with Obama.
Now where have we seen anyone in obama's camp, not in step, being corrected?

In this case I'm sure Clapper had been trying to be a 'good guy' and regurgitate the Obama policy. He is dir of intelligence and would not make such an oops! as to diverge from administration 'policy'.

When said in the light of day the official policy suddenly sounded ridiculous so the 'Axlerod squad' quickly told us 'what he really meant to say".

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/02/10/administration-corrects-dni-clapper-claim-muslim-brotherhood-secular/

"The Obama administration took the rare step Thursday of correcting its own intelligence chief after the official claimed Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood is "largely secular."
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper discussed the Islamist group during a hearing on Capitol Hill earlier Thursday. He testified that the organization has "pursued social ends" and a "betterment of the political order," and downplayed its religious underpinnings. "

"Rare", not so "rare" is it?
Axlerod Squad looking to hire etheopian NY marathon winners to keep uo with retractions lately.

Well the military practically reduced the President to a figure head so the military is still in control.

So what's the point you're trying to make?

Do the Egyptian people have the right to choose their own leadership or not? That's all this comes down to. If not, should we go to Egypt and overthrow the government?

Americans are forked tongued as hell. All of this bullsh*t about freedom and democracy. Well, they made a choice. Why can't we just live with it and get on with our lives?

You will see a fierce battle to correct this situation. The MB will takeout and replace the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) but not without a bloody battle.

Could be true. Seems the Mus Bros learned from their fellow RWers in the US. Keep as many people from voting as possible then, the loudest(most money in US) wins.
