Some offshore Arctic waters to be leased for energy drilling, US says - U.S. News

Well, he has done it pretty much every year since 2008, so I guess it is election year every year.

Then why is the orator opening up drilling? You should be howling against this move if you think we should be cutting back on petro products. Or are you just playing your usual games here?

That's the way I see it..just my opinion.
Yes, it is your opinon, because the 3.5 years has not been "no drilling". Before the accident in the Golf, Obama had made massive expansions to off shore drilling around the US, so clearly his agenda was to expand domestic production, which is pretty much the opposite of what many claim.

This is from early 2010

Howling against everything is your pass time, not mine.

My point went right over your head, didn't it?

YOu made no point other than some ludicrous comment that we need to stop using petrol products which is what made this country. I guess your on board with the new America our president wants that has no lights, cars, property, freedom or liberty. Just stacked and racked in inner cities to be shipped to work camps by hi speed rail.

Citing publicly available federal data, the House Natural Resources Committee noted these figures:
  • Under the Obama administration, 2010 had the lowest number of onshore leases issued since 1984.
Under Obama, Federal Oil and Gas Production Is Down 40%

No, I did not make such comments, and I have no clue what you are talking about us living in the dark. Like I said, the darkness is in your head.

Extremists meet extremists. Moderation is so out of fashion and acceptability.

Why was their only one offshore lease sale in '11 if your hero is letting drilling go on all over the place FB? I guess you just forgot to comment on that eh?
