So why are you whining so much if you are going to pay less? Must be mad that some poor person wont need to do you favors to pay for aspirin.
Because it does hurt my business and still means an increase in taxes to my business. I've got a couple of choices now. I make my business smaller, pay more taxes, or pay a huge amount for health insurance. All of these options suck but I guess you're not concerned, I'm just an employer, right?
This seems to be settling in as the official line from the GOP. They're calling it a "tax increase" right now, but it will soon become an OBAMA tax increase....in spite of the fact that it was their own "conservative" Justice Roberts who characterized it as such.
This is just getting funnier and funnier as the day goes by.
Hey, didnt this bill originate in the Senate? If this is a tax increase, which the Supreme Court just ruled it was, and all tax increases must originate in the House.. I say it goes back to the Supreme Court again!!!
So your employees will not be keeping the coverage they had before like Obama promised.
No for my business, it just raised my taxes since I didn't previously offer insurance. Now I have to decide how to deal with that; I'll be reviewing with my accountant.
Oh I see why you guys are claiming it's the "largest tax increase in history." Because all the right wing blogs are saying that right now. It's not true of course. A quick search shows that's quickly shot down...by Fox news Fact Check of all things.

The largest tax increases were those imposed to help pay for World War II — back when the U.S. raised additional revenue to pay for wars instead of simply borrowing.
Oh and that fine will be a LOT cheaper than getting health insurance. My calculated fine will be $1,738. Lots cheaper than the $14K plan I was quoted (one that would cover everything like Obamacare has mandated).
You only pay the fine if you don't get insurance. The fine doesn't give you insurance.
