Well these days they seem to be usurping and not checking
And no one seems to care either.

It is now time for you to explain how Obama has not gone around the Congress time and again. Since you think that one group is the legislators and one the enforcer maybe you can explain how the legislators have been taken we apart by the enforcer. Do you really not see what Obama has been doing and why?

What an odd statement, given the fact that Supreme Court justices are removed from democratic constraints and have life tenure. Those nine justices are the closest thing to a dictatorship that we have in America.

I don't even know what language that was. Try again.

I fully admit that I do not see the wacky and delusional things you routinely accuse him of.

They didn't get too choose anywhere, my paternal grandparents lived in the East Boston projects not because they wanted to be around Italians but because they couldn't afford anywhere else, they moved out of the projects into a nicer town eventually, which was more Diverse.

Default so predictable.

E.J. Dionne Jr.: Justice Scalia should resign - The Washington Post
Ah yes, the Progressives have Scalia in their crosshairs yet never seem to complain about the justices who vote for their pet causes. The war cry has been out for what is left of Scalia's scalp what, Monday morning? Notice the rash of anti-Justice Scalia threads since then.

You need to go back to school. The executive branch is not supposed to be legislating through executive orders or through its cabinet departments. The court is supposed to rule on constitutionality and the executive branch is to abide by the ruling. That executive is the branch doing the usurping these days. If there wasn't an election coming soon, an impeachment would be in order.

But the congress can over ride most of their rulings by passing a new law to counteract their rulings. An executive running amok, like Obama doesn't follow the constitution at all. He is bypassing congress, making his own laws and ignoring the courts. We may survive if he is only in office for 6 more months.

if you are using the standard that a justice should be impartial, then we need to replace ALL the justices on the court and replace them with robots. you are never going to get an impartial justice regardless of who is put on the court.
