When you go to a family festival with a sign basically telling them since they aren't Christians, they are "thieves and robbers", what would you expect?

Well when I start seeing em blowing themselves up for God and taking anybody and everybody with em and declaring anyone who doesn't believe in their God should be killed then I'll start to worry about the evil Christians.

The muslims actually hate the liberals more.. they hate the liberal ways and actually would approve of the conservatives before the liberals.

The evil Christians have centuries of crimes against humanity. Even today, Priests continue the tradition of abuse.
We could apply this argument to any protest? Whether the intentions are to provoke who you are protesting or not you're going to anger those people. Does any group that becomes angered by a protest have the right to retaliate by throwing things at the protesters?
