Looking back over my posts in this thread it would appear that I got involved in the thread to challenge the misinformation Erik Rush (which someone posted to this thread) has been spreading.
I stayed to challenge the misinformation the D'Souza has been spreading.

I've never heard D'Souza discuss the clip. What role did the clip play in D'Souza's movie? Its hard for me to imagine its usefulness.
It's included with a lot of the other footage of Obama in Kenya. Integral part of the movie, just like Obama's father's dreams are an integral part of Obama's life. So mush so that he wrote a book about it, Dreams From My Father.
Let's be honest here...this movie is going to change the views of about 0% of the population. The right will come out and watch it to get "confirmation" of their lunatic views, and some (like myself) will watch it for the laugh out loud factor.

I base that on the fact that after all of the Rev. Wright and Muslim mud slinging failed to stick to Obama back in 2008, and the discrediting of the birther movement make it look like an absolute joke.

I said I don't care about the success of the documentary. I don't equate the success or failure of a documentary or book with its accuracy. D'Souza's misinformation has been out there for years, the documentary is just a new delivery mechanism.
