What? What a strange question to ask.

You said that you haven't read from a Rush book in years, and that you don't have quotes from his book memorized (floating around in your head). I'm just curious how both of those can be true if you were quoting from one of his books on here 3 months ago. It seems to me either you have some of his book quotes memorized, or you read some of his writing more recently than years ago.

Sure - I dug up the book to find some information to place in the thread that you cited. That little nugget jumped out at me at the time and I posted it. Researching a book for a specific reason does not equate to reading it. I set that book aside after I quoted from it - and currently I have no idea where it might be - or even what the title was. I havn't read it cover to cover in several years.

So just opening a thread about Obamacare makes you think about Rush Limbaugh and specific quotes from his book you are then willing to go look up, but a poster referring to a person named "Rush" in the context of accusing you of letting him think for you (an obvious reference to dittoheads) leaves you very confused as to who this "Rush" is - your best guess being the 70s rock band RUSH?

Yeah, I still don't buy it. Just admit you were playing dumb. And I can be fair. I think the other poster's attack was uncalled for. I agree with what you concluded when you were accused of exactly the same thing by another poster a little over a month ago:

"...attacking me because I listen to a particular program occasionally is a very weak tactic. I do not agree with everything that Rush says and often think that he is wrong - so do many other listeners. The show is informative, entertaining, and provides a fresh perspective that the MSM often ignores. You would do well to understand this and avoid logical fallacies and demonizing Rush listeners."

Actually still quite popular, easily one of if not the most active band from that era and they aren't playing at small venues. They fill the larger arenas.

Rush Limbaugh was being discussed at the time in that thread a month pr so ago - that is what prompted me to find the book - because I was being accused of certain things - a quote of mine concerning which you cited.

I'm not going to "admit" to false delusions that you have bouncing around in your noggin. If Woof doesn't want to be be misunderstood then he should be clearer when using words.

Why is he special? He's not.

He's doing nothing for the US and not protecting any of my freedoms.
I shall keep this thought in mind the next time anyone advocates for universal healthcare.

They can't buy their own? What have they done for me lately?

Sounds a bit like those selfish conservatives some people are always complaining about.

Not intentional by any means I have a couple of sister in laws, friends and daughter in law who are wonderful teachers as well as an aunt. I'm on legal drugs right now for sinus infection, infection in both ears and pneumonia so I'm not exactly thinking very clearly all the time. Prednisone has terrible side effects for me.

So my apologies for not specifically listing Teachers even though they do fall under the public service category (technically).

Sounds like an overseas excursion to me.

Prove it.

Yeah, I'm going to post my 214 for you. Highly unlikely.
You prove you were in the military.

No you didn't. I wasn't born in the 70s. I was born in 1987. You may have done your duty to protect the rights, freedoms, and liberties of people alive then but you did NOT do that for me. Let's be clear on that.

Ok, then. Your parents. The point is, I didn't do squat to protect them from anything and neither did you.

Yes, you're a freeloader. I pay my taxes as well and I don't kill innocent people either. Why are you fantasizing about that?

Okay, you say I'm a freeloader, so it must be true.
Then you participate in the military = welfare plan.
If you kill in war, you probably kill innocent people.

Not that I have to explain myself to you...wait a minute, I don't have to explain myself to you. I'll let you keep thinking that.

You're trying to tell me that I have to explain my self to you. I ask the same in return.
Just what the military needs, more self-righteous garbage for engaging in immoral wars.
