Frankly we're not comparing two similar things. Doctors/Scientists using their talents to prevent diseases is quite a different matter than trying to interfere with normal human biology.
Many women use modern medicine to stop their monthly periods.
Some people mess with human biology and undergone permanent laser hair removal for aesthetic reasons.

I see nothing wrong with a women avoiding going through menopause if she so chooses.

This is up to the women, but why the hell would you want kids past 35 anyway. Babies are cute teenager's are work.
They're linking autism and other mental problems to older men producing, this may just add to more mental issues. I think they should consider the child and being an old parent who can't play ball or chase the ball, wouldn't be much fun for the kid.

I could ask my parents if you'd like. My mom was 36 and 38 when she birthed me and my sister (my dad is 1 year older than my mother).
I don't think women want to menstrate for 89 years....
