Since the people that are in poverty and uninsured are not allowed to vote, why worry?

That video reminds me of 99.99% of the libs on this forum. If you look up the meaning of 'idiotic talking points', the definition is 'liberal democrat'.

For the same reason that the poorest African Countries are the richest in minerals and resources.

Greed Kills.

There are a lot of Virginians who think the northern boundary of the state begins at the Rapahannock not the Potomac. NoVA (Northern Virginia) is too Yankeefied ever since they stole Marse Robert's estate in Arlington and made it into a Union Cemetary! Ity still crowded with Union militay Forts, Camps and bases even today.

Shh-h-h-h.... don'tcha know Republicans and conservatives are very "sensitive" about that subject?!

Although it just goes along with red states being net "moocher states" (that receive more in federal benefits than they pay in... yet complain the most about it)!

Heres a map showing all the red states that suck up the most federal dollars:

If you insist...I was referring to UNprepared food, the kind you find in supermarkets and grocery stores. Prepared food - especially (but not limited to) the kind that is cooked - is taxed by every state (including DC) with a sales tax. So most Americans expect to pay sales tax on food at McDonald's but not at Kroger. Only two blue states in this list and at least ten red ones.

States that tax groceries (rate if not fully taxed): Alabama, Arkansas (3%), Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois (1%), Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri (1.225%), Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee (5.5%), Utah (1.75%), Virginia (1.5% + 1% local option tax), and West Virginia (5%).

So we agree that they do tax food. Food should indeed never be taxed. Cooked or not.

Because that's the way they like it. They believe it's the way the free market should work: Those who can't support themselves should die.

So it's only political party that influences these numbers ?
Not the low COL ?

And if there are a lot of poor, wouldn't it just be logical that the state takes in more in Fed money ?
Wouldn't it also be logical that the greater the number of poor, the less the state gets in revenue from its own people ?

Some of you people need to take off the political glasses here.
