Actually Texas is doing extremely well and it's not because of our President or Governor. Our Legislature does not pass stupid laws (very often) and we balance our budget. We also are business friendly with fairly low taxes.

We just hope the Feds or Californians moving here don't screw it up. Cut taxes and promote job growth.

Governors have no control over Federal regulations, Federal tax policy, Federal defense spending, Federal monetary policy, and countless other Federal intitatives, that affect State economies.

The whole worlds economy isn't crashing. Several countries which have exercised fiscal restraint have been shown to weather the economic downturn well.

Can Obama learn? Of course not, he's to stupid to learn much of anything. Having never worked in private companies this man is beyond stupid and hopeless yet so many think he is the second coming of the Messiah.

Messiah is the term republicans gave him and count on people like you to mimic it Why do you fall for this stuff. So you're saying that a president needs to work in private companies to be an effective president. You think Obama is too stupid to learn anything. Can I ask what your education is or would that offend youl

How old is Obama ? If he's not learned it by now he's not going to learn it. I've been successfully self employed for over 30 years and created quite a jobs for others. Obama has never been employed in private business or run a company. He is clueless about putting people to work.

Let me ask you ... what has he ever done beside been a Politician ? He lacks any real world experience.

3. Trust bust the AMA, Pharmco, and the Insurance Industry to drive down Medical Billing Pricing (instead of trying to force everyone to buy the over-priced insurance for the over-priced billing).
4. Forced Trade Balance with Import Tariffs on imbalanced trade.

and for good measure:

5. Let the Big Banks fail and replace them with small and medium sized community focused banking.

That would already have US back up straight.
True. And a few minor things like

#6. Let the keystone pipeline go through.
#7. Quit his vendetta on drilling in the gulf of Mexico.
#8. Stop wasting taxpayer money on Green Energy
#9. Let them drill in Alaska.
#10 Get rid of the EPA
#11. Reduce the size of gov. agencies by 50%.

And do all the things he said he would.

What world experience are you looking for because most of our presidents didn't have it.

Actually most recent presidents have had much more experience in governing at the state level as well as some have extensive foreign experience (Bush 41, for example). Romney has that experience plus business experience. When Obama was elected, his total lack of experience was my main concern with him and that has been borne out in his total failure.

Funny. Anytime I or any other liberal suggest that America needs to try Sweden, Norway, etc policies (such as becoming a Social Democracy) we are called communist. So what do you want? Do you want universal healthcare, free education, low business tax, etc or do you want pure capitalism that doesn't seem to be working at the moment?
