Only one man in the Bible followed God's Law perfectly - Jesus Christ.

So you you just selectively read the Bible and ignore anything that doesn't suit you. How surprising. Not.

For example, In the book of Numbers, your God commanded his people to go massacre other tribes. To kill all the men, women and male children, but kidnap and keep all the young virgin girls for themselves. They were commanded to give a percentage of all the booty to 'Him'. Including a percentage of the young virgin girls. I'd say they followed your God's commands rather well.

Anyone who uses the Bible to support their arguments against gay people is a huge hypocrite.

Gay, straight, whatever, why do some people even care. Children are lucky to have people who honestly look out for them these days. The gay friends I have are fantactic parents and have nothing to be ashamed of..why even this thread?

A lot of Bible-thumpers tend to do that. Ask them about Jeremiah 10 ...

I am a Christian and believe some of the Bible was inspired by God, but to use it as a foundation for your life is a mistake and things in it have been "modified" throughout the years by whatever power has been in power in the Church at the time to support their rules.

Exactly!!!

why even this thread?
I don't know. But it is typical of the OP to start these types of ignorant and bigoted threads, quoting biased studies and websites, to try to further his agenda of hatred and bigotry.

It is also typical of the OP to abandon the thread when his "studies" are called out for what they are - B.S. - and the OP realizes he can't compete with or argue with the intelligent responses, such as what we've seen on this thread.

IMO, marriage should be for these reasons:

1. To start a family
2. Love
3. Legal issues

Wow! Imagine that! Those are the exact same reasons gays want to marry!

I'll bet you didn't realize you have so much in common with gays, did you?
