Very true; however, when that belief starts to deny people equal rights and freedoms just because a certain group of folks find their life style to be 'icky', that's where I have an issue.

As a prior member of the US Navy, I didn't spend 4 years defending the US Constitution/Bill of Rights/Amendments to just sit idly by while the religious right/anti-gay/homophobic crowd tries to spread their bigotry/hate agenda and deny people their American granted unalienable rights and liberties.

So I agree with you, but had to make my stance just a little more clearer

So are you going to answer this question or not?

Gays and their desire to marry and raise children, affect me directly by:

1)
2)
3)
4)

Provide sources to back up your reasons.
You have still demonstrated that you willing to ignore(or not read) posts that contrast with your views - which identifies yourself as CLOSED-MINDED

Would you like to explain why you are so closed-minded?

As soon as you answer this question:

When you do that, I'll go ahead and dismiss your pathetic attempt at being the kettle trying to call the pot black.

You can keep calling me close minded until you're blue in the face - it won't make it any more true than it already isn't. Matter of fact - that's what we call 'transference'. Might want to look in the mirror and answer why you're so close minded.

Nonsense. The only thing they are demonstrating with that is how you cannot defend your stance by just answering a simple question.

Quantify this. (I know - you can't).

More research data showing showing the harms waiting for children in gay households

The evidence indicates that "committed" homosexual relationships are radically different from married couples in several key respects:
· relationship duration
· monogamy vs. promiscuity
· relationship commitment
· number of children being raised
· health risks
· rates of intimate partner violence

The present evidence from gay activists themselves indicates that behind the push for gay marriage lies a political agenda to radically change the institution of marriage itself.

RELATIONSHIP DURATION
Gay activists often point to high divorce rates and claim that married couples fare little better than homosexuals with regard to the duration of their relationships. The research, however, indicates that male homosexual relationships last only a fraction of the length of most marriages.

Why don't you keep your agendas out of view from children?

You know it's wrong to teach a child to be something that it's not.

I'm glad that my vote will cancel out yours in November.

Wait - so it's wrong to teach tolerance and accepting other people's lifestyles and to be respectful without being a complete and utter bigot?

Well I'll be damned.
