Rick Perry: Texas Won't Implement Obamacare - Fox News

I'm glad individual states are starting to stand up to Obama on this government mandated healthcare bill.

The people don't want it & he's trying to shove it down everyones throat.

Does this mean that if are in Texas, and you do not buy the mandated Corporate (Extortion) Insurance, the IRS Tax Fine does not apply?

There is a long list of other states saying they won't enforce it either.

Perry wants the tax money to go elsewhere like building new schools & on education.

The states should continue to strive for what's right for their citizens and what they can afford.

More states just need to tell Obama & the Feds No. We're mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore. (Did someone already say that ?)

That is fine. It will leave more and more money to the states that want to implement it. Texans pay for it and we benefit from it. Works for me just fine. But one wonders how hospitals in Texas are going to like that.

You're everything wrong with America with an attitude like that. Guess you're a "free rider". You'll take from others to benefit yourself.

Honestly, this was the Republicans idea (mandated healthcare). Why not just have a single payer program or at least a public option? What is wrong with having EVERYONE have healthcare at affordable rates? What is wrong with wanting people to not die? Novel concept, wanting your population to be healthy. Wow.

With that said, I don't like the provision of needing to buy healthcare. However, if there were subsidizes or competition by the government, or if it were a single payer program I would not mind it so much. Otherwise we're just lining the pockets of insurance companies and the politicians they support.

Republicans believe health care is only for the rich.
