It was AWESOME! I knew a lot about Lincoln but this book blew it open for me. I would recommend it to everyone. I have his other book The Real Lincoln on my table to read soon.

More bad news for the extremists, the Anti-Americans who are attacking our American Values:

Quote:
Francis Bellamy was also a chairman of a committee of state superintendents of education in the National Education Association
Not only were they Christians, Socialists ... but teachers! OMG!

That's all the more reason for the Pledge to be recited daily in every classroom in America.

Who is "attacking" anything? I was informing people...and asking if anyone else knew this.I bet you don't understand WHY he made a pledge of allegiance..he being the founder of the educators union wanted kids to be loyal to the government and he was also a large part of having compulsory schooling for kids. It was a ploy to make kids uniform in their ideas of loyalty to the state.
