I'm getting ready to attend Gay Pride events in San Diego this week. I will vociferously criticize the joke that is called Obamacare. I wonder how many know that it disproportionately affects gay peoples' pocketbooks because most of us are single taxpayers with decent incomes. That means that we will be expected to pay "full freight" and subsidize others. I'm curious to know how many gay folk out there know the facts.

The fact is........our taxes funded the research and development of AIDS meds for the whole damned world.

Welcome to the responsibility of being a taxpayer AKA paying full freight to subsidize others.

Republicans won't let ya marry and the Democrats punish ya for being single. Ya might want to consider the Libertarian Party.

LOL. funny that you say that. I'm voting for Gary Johnson this November.
Repubs also punish singles though. The only time when that does not happen to a degree is when they propose "across the board" tax cuts. But even then, they have to fix it because some couples will whine about the so-called "marriage penalty"

The best thing about Pres Obama winning another 4 years, at least in my opinion is that it would save the Supreme Court to going ALL right wing. I'm hopeful that the rabid nutjob Scalia will be the one to leave in the next 4 years. Then at least, the decisions would be based more on law, not legislating from the bench. He absolutely WILL win this time. This election will be a replay of 2004 with Romney doing a little worse than Kerrey did.
