There maybe other countries somewhat comparable but no one beats America for potential opportunities, if you can make the money you are limited only by your imagination in the USA.. Sounds like a great place to me unless you start listening to the doom and gloom crowd that seem to think illegals are destroying the country, same sex couples are destroying what the illegals arent and on and on, Obama will come and go just like the 43 Presidents before him,no big deal not even a tempest in a teapot unless you want to make of it much more than it merits.
Kenyan Muslim Communist out to destroy America? Really?? I think entrenched attitudes like that are more harmful to society in general than any threat posed by any number of illegal migrant farm workers.
If you can make the money you are limited only by your imagination in the [insert any first world country here]. This hysteric hyperbolic patriotism will do us the most harm in the future. America is in deep decline since at least 2008. But instead accepting this and take according measures people are full of hate, denial and get very angry when this is pointed out to them. Most Americans would suit some humility very well. The North European Countries and our neighbors to the North + NZ and AUS are a good example for that. They have the highest standing of living in the world, but they are not boasting about it. That is the way to go.

So positive thinking about American patriotism has now been relegated to hysterical hyperbole?

And America has been in deep decline just since 2008? So its all Obamas fault?

People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.

Default Is America going to collapse?

No.

It'll go into a slow decline at some point and settle out at some level below where it is now. Those who claim it's already happening don't keep up with the news on what's going on with the rest of the world.

Nothing wrong with good 'ol patriotism. I think America is a great country, but so are many other countries as well. Patriotism becomes hysteria and hyberbole when people of any country claim its the greatest country in the history of mankind and what is possible in America isn't possible anywhere else. That's simply putting down other countries and feeling superior them. That's very degrading and the main reason we are so disliked in many parts of the world.

I don't think it's Obama's fault at all. I feel sorry for the guy. He became president in of the worst and polarized times in the history of this country. We are in decline for probably the last 20 years. Which is not really our fault, but due to the ascension of other powerful countries in this world.

Not just America... the whole world is teetering on collapse - morally, socially as well as economically, etc.

When injustice, evil and perversion are allow to run amok, the end of the era is near.

The big question should be... what happens after the collapse... what is the replacement ??
