It might be worse than that..Obama is asking ..." When myself and my rich friends pretending to care about America...we ask and expect you to bend over and take it from behind...while we go through your pockets - and you will thank those who grow a little richer as you get more EQUAL - equally poor and miserable....This president is a guy that looks black who works for whites who don't give a damn about common people.

When you see someone promoting socialism it is not about creating a fair playing field- Once established a whole new set of rich and abusive elites form...This is what happened in Russia - China - Cuba and so on..When a leader says we are going to re-distribute wealth- They really mean we are going to further concentrate it.

First off I do not think that President Obama should be re-elected. However, I watched him deliver this speech and in the context it was given it was apparent that he was saying the structure of communities/country afforded businesses to be successful. This is not such an outrageous claim.

If there was no developed community then there would be far fewer customers and businesses.

And I don't know about you, but I am tired of the, well there are other places in the world that are so much worse and if we raise taxes it is still better to live here than there argument. That's just stupid. Why is it OK to do something just because it still wouldn't be as bad as what someone else is doing?

It's well known that Obama doesn't work that hard, he admits it himself.

President Obama admits says his worst trait is that he's a little bit lazy and blames his Aloha State upbringing for his penchant for taking it easy.
"There is a deep down, underneath all the work I do, I think there's a laziness in me," Obama said in his interview with Barbara Walters that airs Friday night on ABC.
"It's probably from, you know, growing up in Hawaii, and it's sunny outside and sitting on the beach."
Obama said he also deplores laziness in others, saying "nothing frustrates me more than when people aren't doing their jobs." And when he sees himself getting lazy, "then I get mad at myself."

Default Obama to Entrepreneurs: Your Success Belongs to the State

Quote:
Under Obama’s formulation — “You didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen” — All private success is nonexistent. There is only the glory of the state, as expressed through collective action. The ditch digger and social worker share equally in the success of the small-business owner and the tycoon. Therefore, they deserve an equal, or at least much larger, share of the fruits of the entrepreneurs’ labor.

This is the thinking of a man who views businesses as entities to be milked for the good of the collective. This is the message he intends to try to sell in New Hampshire, where New Englanders often flee to start their own businesses because their home states tax and regulate too much. Good luck with that message, Mr. President.
Link: Obama to entrepreneurs: Your success belongs to the state | New Hampshire OPINION01

The Union Leader nails it perfectly.

Obama is much like his wife who said that some days she feels like getting up and just walking away. OBAMA was ill prepared to truly sacrifice his full energy and life to the nation...The presidency was just a lark for him- He got a kick out being a big shot but did not expect so much work and real responsibility - Vote the guy out and find a true father for the nation...This guy is a tad dead beat...He is not capable of being a serious man....I just hope for your nation that you find that the next group of administration workers - capable of dedication and real work. The nation is run by committee- do not view the individual- vote in a team.

What facts did you use to form this opinion? Because it seems to me is that you made it up out of thin air based upon your own false perceptions and biases. I can't see anything that you have written that is tethered to reality or can be substantiated with examples.

Report card on effective corporate tax rates

"The United States is currently underperforming in global tax comparisons. The United States' top statutory tax rates will soon be the highest in the OECD, and the US effective average and effective marginal tax rates are far above the OECD average"

Corporate Taxes: Comparing Effective Rates

"No matter how you look at the data, U.S. companies are paying one of the heaviest tax burdens in the world"

Look, I am not saying you guys are wrong or anything but whether or not our companies really pay the highest corporate taxes or the lowest, merely the presence of that statutory rate makes us uncompetitive and now it stands as the highest in the world. However you look at it, that doesn't look good.

My point is that you can post some stuff, I can post some stuff....either way, having the highest statutory rate in the WORLD just makes us look bad. Japan got it, that's way they cut theirs...why the hell can't we get it?.

This isn't 5 or 6 decades ago where America was the only big boy and player around....time to get with the times and whining about "fair share" isn't going to do it. Sorry.
