My guess is that liberals use the internet a lot more than conservatives. It comes down to demographics. Mostly old people listen to talk radio. I guess that is why they call them conservatives. They are not willing to change to something better.

On Twitter, there is a similar disparity. Obama's campaign has almost 16.8 million followers, while Romney has not even hit 600K. Moreover, Obama's account is much more active than Romney's, tweeting about once an hour during the business day, while Romney tweets only once or twice a day.
It is clear that Obama is Dominating Romney in the social media, which is used by younger voters.

We determine the presidency at the polling places, not on facebook. Keep in mind that "young voters" rarely vote. The turnout in 2008 was unprecedented for young voters. Now they are all unemployed and living in thier parent's basements.
