Early retirement???

Document filed with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2002 lists Romney as a "managing member""authorized to execute, acknowledge, deliver and record any recordable instrument purporting to affect an interest in real property, whether to be recorded with a Registry of Deeds or with a District Office of the Land Court." Now what that portends remains to be, as our Republican friends like to say, vetted.

He was still an officer of the company. Why even bother continuing with this nonsense?

Managing member...listed as CEO, and took the six-figure salary for it. He sure as hell was in charge operationally. If he wasn't then he lied to the SEC. Then he's got some splainin' to do!

As if any amount of explaining will satisfy the latest batch of braying nutjobs.

First Truthers, then Birthers, now Bainers. Can we talk about issues that actually matter for a change?

Anything but talk about obama's failed record. The dems are the new bitter clingers.

Look, this is like being pregnant: either you ARE, or you AREN'T. So either you're retired, or you're the CEO and sole shareholder. WHICH IS IT?

I think it's legitimate to at least poke at this...especially if we're going to undertake investigations of how Obama is from Kenya, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Saturn...

Can not.... post this enough. It's like if I asked you, "Hey, are you CEO?" "Yep, just retired retroactively."

LOLWUT.

When I worked for a small business, the owner/president/CEO would be gone for weeks, sometimes months at a time. The COO was in charge of the day-to-day operations. It's really not that difficult a concept to grasp unless you're just not interested in grasping it.
